I have known Ted for almost 20 years now. I was a young man , a Scouter in Training and he was the Akeka of 1st B Bramalea Cub pack. I learned alot for Ted, his soft spoken ways his love of kids and making life fun for kids. as often happens we move on in life and I stayed in Scouting and tried to take some of the things he showed me with me. As a neighbour I would meet him on his walks with Mulder and we would chat we would not chat about okd time or DeHaviland where both he and my Dad worked but we would talk about the things that mattered most to him... His family I would get updates on everybody and how they were doing. And then came Adriana if there was a mor proud Granddad I never knew one...
I will Miss Ted and our chats I will miss seeing the pride and love when he spoke of his kids and I will miss the smile that ALWAYS came accross his face when Adriana's name came up... If there are things we should take from Ted's life it is that... To even in a quiet way show people how much your family means to you and be proud of them....
